What we collect

We collect the details you submit through an enquiry or booking form or by email, including your name, email address, phone number, property or stay details and the content of your message. For landlords and guests we also process the information needed to provide our services and to meet legal obligations, including guest registration.

Why we process your data

We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations (such as tax, guest registration and the tourist fee), and our legitimate interests in running and improving our services.

Enquiry forms

When you send an enquiry through a form on this website, the details are sent to our own server. We check them and screen out automated spam before the message is passed to an email delivery service, which places it in our inbox. We currently use FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) for that delivery step. It processes your enquiry only in order to deliver it to us. Enquiry data is never used for advertising and is never sold.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how this site is used. It loads only if you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner, and Google Consent Mode is set to deny until you do. If you decline, no Google Analytics code is loaded at all. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at any time. We have accepted the Google data processing terms and all optional data sharing is switched off.

Our hosting provider also records basic aggregated visit statistics such as page views and country. This runs without cookies and does not identify you.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers acting on our behalf (for example email delivery, cleaning, maintenance and accounting), with public authorities where the law requires, and with our professional advisers.

Where data is held

Most of your data is stored within the EU or EEA. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, such as Google in connection with analytics or our email delivery service, the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Accounting records are kept for as long as Czech law requires, which is generally up to ten years.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection at uoou.gov.cz.
